With 1 million yen  in capital and 34 associates. In 1953 Honda began manufacturing power products with the desire to apply engine technologies in ways useful for people’s daily lives and work situations. With the first general-purpose engine developed for agricultural equipment, the Type H. Honda has since produced a multitude of power products including tillers, generators, outboard engines  and lawnmowers.
